2024 MN Teacher Salaries: Which Districts Pay The Most?

Public school teachers across Minnesota can make a lot or little, depending on which district they work in.

According to the most recent data from the Minnesota Professional Educator License and Standards Board, Stephen-Argyle Central Schools can claim the highest average teacher salary at more than $165,000.

MINNESOTA — Public school teachers in Minnesota can make vastly different salaries, depending on which school district they work for.

Find some of the state's top districts for average teacher salaries below, according to the Minnesota Professional Educator License and Standards Board:

  • Stillwater Area Public Schools — $91,785
  • Wayzata Public School District — $89,176
  • Venture Academy — $89,090
  • St. Croix River Education District — $88,725
  • Sourcewell — $88,663
  • Saint Paul Public Schools — $87,250
  • Roseville Public School District — $86,111
