Representative Beard has been a friend and champion of the Shakopee Chamber for many years and a strong voice for the business community. We thank you Representative Beard for your straight shooting, commonsense approach to tackling the tough issues and your non-stop commitment to promoting economic growth and prosperity for our community.
During his years of service as a citizen legislator, Representative Beard has become known as a strong voice for commonsense, consensus legislation that promotes economic growth and innovation. He is also well-respected for his expertise on transportation and energy issues. From 2011 to 2012, Representative Beard served as chair of the House Transportation Finance and Policy Committee, and he currently acts as the Republican-Lead of the House Transportation Finance Committee.
