MINNEAPOLIS – The Minneapolis Cider Company is set to debut its first THC-infused beverage later this month. "Trail Magic" is made with non-alcoholic cider with 3 milligrams of Delta 9 THC.

The drink comes on the heels of a new law that legalized cannabis-infused gummies and beverages in Minnesota.

"THC is an alternative to alcohol that gives consumers another choice of how to relax, unwind, and enjoy themselves with friends," said Minneapolis Cider Company co-founder Jason Dayton in a news release. "The perks? It’s made with the cider our fans know and love, it’s low-calorie, it’s non-alcoholic, it’s real fruit, and there’s no added sugar."

According to the company, "Trail Magic gets its name from an outdoorsy practice rooted in surprising acts of generosity. This trend has many forms: a ride into town; a cold soda at the trailhead; a shower and a bunk."

Trail Magic THC Cider will be available in pineapple and mixed berry come launch day, July 29. Customers can try it at the Minneapolis Cider Company taproom.
