MINNEAPOLIS — A Minneapolis police officer is accused of leaving an emergency call to have sexual relations with a civilian he met on a dating app, according to a report.

According to text messages reviewed by the Star Tribune, a 28-year-old officer shared what appeared to be a photo of his genitals and inquired whether the civilian would be interested in giving oral sex to "a cop in uniform."

The six-year veteran officer works in the fifth precinct. He is currently on paid leave pending an investigation, sources to the newspaper.
