The U. S. Coast Guard Auxiliary's Boating Skills and Seamanship course is a comprehensive boater certificate course designed for both the experienced and novice boater. The course provides up-to-date knowledge for handling boats under all conditions. Classes include:
- Boating safety - Boat handling - Rules of the road - Navigation - Required equipment - Boating regulations - Lines and knots
This NASBLA approved course is accepted by most states and boat insurance companies.
This is a 11 Week Course from Tues, Sep 24 to Tues, Dec 17 Class meets from 7:00 PM -9:00 PM Burlington Adult Education course #153003 Register by Sep 24, 2024 Cost $85

The Canvas Roadshow/ Hammer &amp; Stain is the perfect place to escape and create! Join our public DIY Workshops were we will guide you through a step by step process of transforming unfinished projects into personalized artistic creations.
Things to know:
*We will start promptly at the time noted. Out of respect for other Makers and our staff please arrive on time! *You may bring your own beer &amp; wine to enjoy during the workshop! *Photos shown are just examples, you will choose your own stain and paint colors in the studio on the day of your workshop. *Only people signed up for the workshop are allowed in the studio during the workshop time.

Join our public DIY Workshops were we will guide you through a step by step process of transforming unfinished projects into personalized artistic creations. You will be able to customize your own wood project using our wide selection of stain and paint. Want to explore a little more? Try techniques to enhance your project or while you are in studio check out our accessories to make your sign truly one of a kind.

*Only people signed up for the workshop are allowed in the studio during the workshop time.

“Majestic Theatre to host its 19th
Annual Auction &amp; Performance PARIS! City of Lights, on September 20 &amp; 21, 2024”.
PARIS! City of Lights, The Majestic Theatre’s 19th Annual Auction &amp; Performance will be held on September 20 &amp; 21, 2024 at 6:30pm each evening. Patrons are invited to join them for their Parisian themed event featuring Performances by Majestic’s Adult, Teen, &amp; Youth Actors, Ted Herbert Faculty &amp; Students, and Special Guests. Separate Silent Auctions will be offered each evening, along with specialty raffles and refreshments. Proceeds from this annual fundraiser will benefit The Majestic Theatre and Ted Herbert Music School, offering year-round community theatre productions as well as music and theatre educational opportunities. 
Special thanks to sponsors: Minuteman Medical Inc, DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown, Bluestone Capital, Boufford Funeral Home, K4E Company, and Sports Bling! 
Silent auctions will feature overnight get-aways, tickets to theatre, music and sporting events, gift certificates to local restaurants and stores, fine art, jewelry and a wide array of gift baskets. There’s something for everyone!
This event will be held at Majestic Theatre Studios located at 880 Page Street in Manchester. Come create colorful sea glass art simply by using an assortment of shells, colorful pebbles, sand, and of course sea glass! We have all the materials you will need to make these wonderful pieces of art but of course you are more than welcome to bring your beach finds to add them into your masterpiece! No two final creations will ever look the same as everyone's imagination has no limits. They can be arranged in so many ways, patterns, and colors - create a picture or just random fashion. We even have the options to add a word, phrase or maybe the name of your favorite beach. Don’t worry, our instructors will be by your side to help you along the way.
