High Heat Index, Thunderstorms Returning To New Hampshire This Week

In between showers on Monday and Wednesday, expect temperatures in the 90s — with temps in the 80s Thursday and Friday and a sunny weekend.

CONCORD, NH — Forecasters are calling for showers and thunderstorms this week — and a high heat index in between.

It will be mostly sunny and hot in the mid-90s on Monday, with heat index values as high as 100. There is “a slight chance of showers” in the early afternoon and then again later in the afternoon. There is a slight chance of showers before 8 p.m. and during the overnight hours.

After patchy fog on Tuesday, expect hot and sunny weather with highs in the mid-90s and overnight temperatures in the mid-70s.

More showers and thunderstorms are possible on Wednesday afternoon after fog in the morning, with temps in the low 90s.

Temperatures were expected to be slightly lower on Thursday — in the lower 80s and in the 60s during the overnight and early morning hours.
