Suspicious Death Of A Man At Durham Home Under Investigation

The NH AG's Office, NHSP, Durham police are investigating the death at 98 Bennett Road; officials say all people involved are identified.

DURHAM, NH — The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, Durham police, and the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit are investigating a suspicious death in Durham.

Michael Garrity, the director of communications for the AG’s office, said they are investigating a death at 98 Bennett Road. The death was described as suspicious and a man at the address died.

Garrity said the exact circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation. Durham police cruisers were parked on Bennett Road and the property was surrounded by crime scene tape.

The major crime van was parked in the driveway, as well as two personal vehicles.

Initial information from several sources indicates a man suffered fatal stabwounds. However, officials have not confirmed that. At this point, investigators say they believe all parties involved have been identified and there is no threat to the general public.
