Blood Drive at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Sept. 3

Hackensack Meridian Jersey Shore University Medical Center, in collaboration with vitalant, is sponsoring a blood drive Tuesday, September 3, 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., in the academic medical center’s Northwest Pavilion, 2nd floor lobby, Neptune, NJ. Donors will receive a $10 gift card and a ‘Super Donor’ t-shirt. Every day, blood donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer.

Appointments are strongly recommended. Donors can call 877-258-4825, or visit donors.vitalant.org and use blood drive code XJSMC to make an appointment. Donors should weigh at least 110 lbs, bring an ID, eat a meal before donation, and drink plenty of water before and after donation.
