‘Balloons in June’ Celebrates Ridge High School Class of 2024

Orders accepted April 22-May 15

(Sherry Nelson)

The long held tradition of Ridge High School Seniors receiving mylar balloons and congratulatory messages from friends and family, delivered to their homes on the Monday before graduation, continues for the Class of 2024.

This tradition is a special way to congratulate your child, neighbor, friend, babysitter, relative or employee on the occasion of their graduation!

Family and friends submit their online order for balloons, which cost $6 each, to be delivered to RHS Class of 2024 graduates residing within the school district. The order form asks for each recipient’s name and delivery address. Payment is collected from purchasers with order information. An order confirmation email is sent to purchasers. Purchasers then write congratulatory messages to each graduate and mail or drop off these messages by May 17th to the Balloons in June headquarters address listed in the emailed order confirmation.

A maximum of 20 balloons will be delivered per address, but there is no limit on the number of congratulatory messages to be delivered to each graduate. On June 10th volunteers will deliver balloons and messages to recipients’ mailboxes. Condo addresses will receive balloons at their front doors. Balloons ordered for RHS Class of 2024 students residing out of district must be picked up from the Lyons Mall UPS Store between 9 a.m and 11 a.m. on June 10th.

The order deadline is May 15th. No late orders will be accepted.
