Basking Ridge Hosts Winter Market, Holiday Sing-Along
On Saturday, the town is hosting a sing-along led by a Tony Award-winning actress, a winter market, and of course a Santa Claus visit.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Basking Ridge has planned a full day’s worth of festivities to celebrate the holidays.
On Saturday from noon to 7, there will be a winter market outside the Bishop Janes United Methodist Church, with over 30 vendors and artisans. Shoppers can also purchase trees and wreaths, and children can participate in crafting.
From 5 to 5:30, a Christmas Tree lighting will take place on the green downtown. The event will also be live streamed here. Tony Award winning actress Laura Benanti, who has starred in 13 Broadway shows and a number of television shows, will lead a sing-along of holiday favorites.

From 5:45 to 6:45, Santa will visit the front porch of Ridge Family Dentistry. On the same porch from 4-5, children can decorate cards to the “Make a Wish to the New Year” tree.
