Capacity Management

  • All members will be required to present their membership ID card for access into the facility.
  • There will be separate entrance and exit points to limit congregation.
  • The pool will be operating at a reduced capacity of about 500 people allowed in the facility at one time. Once capacity is reached, additional members will not be allowed into the facility until members exit.
  • To accommodate as many members as possible under this limited capacity, guests will not be permitted.

Swimming Pools & Features

  • Both the main pool and training pool will be available for swimming. Children using the main pool must be potty trained.
  • The training pool slide, wading/baby pool, splash pad and water play area are high-touch areas with close contact play and must remain closed.
  • If permitted, the low diving board in the main pool may open. The high and medium dive will remain closed.
  • Due to the limited capacity, adult swim will not be called. However, a dedicated space in the deep end of the main pool for lap swim is being planned.

Facility Amenities

  • For your safety, all chairs, tables, and table umbrellas will be removed. Permanent shade structures will be available. As in years past, members are welcome to bring their own chairs when they visit.
  • Restrooms, showers and changing areas will be available and monitored for capacity. Foot coverings are required in restrooms, showers and changing areas.
  • The snack bar is expected to be open, possibly with a limited menu. The water fountain will be closed.
  • For safety, sports equipment, games, books or goggles will not be lent out. The poly pong table and the shuffleboard, bocce and volleyball courts will be closed.
  • Members are welcome to bring their own life jackets provided they are Coast Guard approved.

Social Distancing & Face Coverings

  • Staff and members are encouraged to wear a cloth face covering while not in the pool when social distancing of 6 feet cannot be maintained, unless doing so would inhibit the individual’s health. Face coverings are most essential in times when physical distancing is difficult, particularly when socializing may bring you within 6 feet of another member or when you are interacting with staff or at the concession. This is for your safety and the safety of others.
  • Social distancing must be practiced both inside and outside of the water as it is a key factor in slowing the spread of the virus. Signage and visible markings will be placed throughout the facility encouraging at least 6 feet of space between individuals and members outside of their household or immediate family.

Enhanced Cleaning Protocols

  • Enhanced cleaning and disinfection procedures will be implemented using EPA approved disinfectants and following CDC guidance that includes frequent cleaning and disinfecting of high traffic areas and major touch points.
  • Hand sanitizer stations will be provided throughout the facility.
  • Proper and frequent hand washing is required by staff.
