BERNARDS TOWNSHIP, NJ — After rain dampened their originally-scheduled date, the Bernards Chinese American Association is preparing for a Mid-Autumn Festival to take place Saturday.

This celebration of the season, and of Chinese culture, is at Liberty Corner Fire Company (95 Church Street, Liberty Corner NJ) on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Admission is free, and will include activities as well as cultural performances by dancers, singers, and musicians.

The event was originally scheduled for Sept. 23 at Pleasant Valley Park in Basking Ridge, but was postponed due to heavy rain. The forecast this Saturday calls for likely rain showers, mainly in the morning, per the National Weather Service.
