INSPIRING PASSION AND CREATIVITY FOR THE ARTS!

Following last year's incredible success - with hundreds of submissions from over 30 countries - the Lucia Bocchino Fund for Promising Young Artists' Annual Exhibition is back to encourage and cultivate the talents of young artists everywhere! In its 16th year, the Lucia Bocchino Fund will be holding its annual exhibition as an ONLINE VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE titled,

"FOREVER FEMALES: A Virtual Exhibition of Women in Our Lives Who Inspire Us!"

We are inviting all Promising Young Artists that are 5 - 18 years old to submit a portrait, collage, poem (150 words or less), or video (1 minute or less) of A WOMAN WHO INSPIRES THEM (e.g. Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, etc.) to be featured in our Virtual Exhibition taking place on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 12th! Now is a perfect time to reach into the creativity in your hearts and honor the amazing women in our everyday lives!

The Lucia Bocchino Fund for Promising Young Artists was established in memory of Lucia Bocchino - artist, mother, and wife. The fund aims to encourage young artists in the early stages of their lives.

Please keep the following rules in mind:

1. Submissions must be inspired by a woman in your life (e.g. Mother, Grandmother, Sister, etc.).

2. Any medium is welcome (as long as it can be photographed) from paints to crayons, collage to colored pencils - be creative!

3. The photo of the masterpiece will be posted just as submitted (we will try to contact you if the photo cannot be opened or is not visible).

4. Every artist can only submit one masterpiece.

5. This form must be submitted by May 10, 2024 in order for the Promising Young Artist's work to be included in the Virtual Exhibition.

VIRTUAL EXHIBITION CEREMONY:
Please join us on Sunday, May 12th at 12PM EST on our Instagram Account @LuciaBocchinoFund to celebrate the unveiling of the 2024 Virtual Exhibition on www.LuciaBocchinoFund.org. Similar to prior years, we will be hosting an Instagram Live event, unveiling the exhibition, thanking all participants, and allowing artists the opportunity to speak on their work.

AWARDS:
This year, in addition to being featured in the virtual art exhibition, all participants will receive an official certificate via email noting their momentous achievement! Also, winners will be selected from grade categories. All winners will be contacted in May following the Virtual Exhibition Ceremony requesting an email address to which their Award Certificate may be sent via email.
