Here's How Much Rain Fell In Basking Ridge

Roadways have reopened Wednesday after flash flooding and rain fell on Basking Ridge on Tuesday. Here are the totals in Somerset County:

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Basking Ridge seems to be drying out on Wednesday after experiencing more flooding and road closures on Tuesday. As of Wednesday morning, most roadways have been reopened with the exception of Blackwells Mills in Hillsborough.

The highest recorded rainfall was in West Creek in Ocean County, where 5.42 inches was measured. Somerset County wasn't far behind with Warren Township getting 4.9 inches as of 9 a.m. on Tuesday.

A Flood Warning continues for the Millstone River At Blackwells Mills until late Wednesday afternoon. As of 10:30 a.m., the river is at 9.39 feet above the 9-foot flooding mark.
