Main Pool, Spray Grounds To Be Replastered At Pleasant Valley Pool

The Bernards Township Committee voted to award a contract for $465,000 to update the pool that was first constructed in 2007.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Pleasant Valley Pool will be getting a facelift to prepare for the 2024 summer season.

The Bernards Township Committee recently approved a resolution awarding a contract to Premier Pool Renovations Inc. in Doylestown, PA for $465,000 to replaster the main pool and spray grounds at the Oct. 24 meeting.

The Pleasant Valley Pool Water Play Area was constructed in 2007 and the Main Pool was last replastered in 2010.

This project includes water blasting and replastering, new tiles, new depth markers, new deck coping, drain connections and filter line repairs for the Water Play Area, DE filter cover replacement, winterization, and spring start-up.

Money to cover the costs will come from the Pool Capital Improvement Fund.

Work is already underway and will continue through April 12, 2024.
