Openings Remain for Virtual Summer Camp at the EEC

The Naturalists at the Environmental Education Center, 190 Lord Stirling Road, Basking Ridge, NJ, have announced the launch of the first Environmental Science Virtual Summer Camp.

Eco-Explorers for children age 4 to 10, is a series exploring nature and science while fostering creative expression and imagination.

Tuesday, July 21, 2020 to Thursday, July 23, 2020 - “Swamp Scientists”

Tuesday, August 4, 2020 to Thursday, August 6, 2020 - “Animal Adaptations”

AWESIM (Animals, Wetlands, Environmental Science, and Incredible Minds) KIDS for ages 10 to 16, focuses on environmental learning and peer leadership.

AWESIM KIDS sessions include:

Tuesday, July 14, 2020 to Thursday, July 16, 2020 - “Survive”

Tuesday, July 28, 2020 to Thursday, July 30, 2020 - “H Meets O”

Tuesday, August 11, 2020 to Thursday, August 13, 2020 - “YUM!”

Programs will meet online on designated Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 10:00 A.M. for approximately one hour each day. Sessions will include live virtual meetings, original video content, and exclusive indoor and outdoor activities.

Fee is $15 per household, per session regardless of the number of children participating. Registration begins Tuesday, June 23 at 9:00 A.M. Online registration is recommended. Phone calls will be returned in the order received. Walk-in registrations cannot be accommodated as the EEC building remains closed.
