Ridge Fencer Captures 100th Win

Senior foil fencer and boys team captain, Alex Ligos, just joined an elite group of Ridge fencers.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Senior foil fencer and boys team captain, Alex Ligos, just joined an elite group of Ridge fencers as he won his 100th bout during the Thursday evening matchup with Bernards.

Ligos started the dual with 98 victories, but was able to seal the deal with 2 victories on the night.

Only a small number of high school fencers reach this milestone, and Alex has been an important member of the Ridge foil squad for his entire high school career. His overall career record so far is an outstanding 100-17.
