BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Temperatures are rising on Monday and Tuesday prompting the National Weather Service to issue a heat advisory for Basking Ridge.

Heat index values of up to 104 are expected on Monday and 102 on Tuesday. The heat advisory remains in effect through 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The hot temperatures will be coupled with high humidity increasing the threat of heat-related health issues.
