Services Set For Basking Ridge Teen Who Died Tuesday

BASKING RIDGE, NJ —Funeral arrangements have been set for Gage Dobson, an eighth grader at William Annin Middle School, who died Tuesday afternoon in his home.

"A soccer star has fallen way before his time and will be missed by his teammates. May the angels watch over you now. Peace," a condolence left on Dobson's page on Galloway & Crane's website.

Visitation at Main Service will be held 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017 at St. James Church, 184 South Finley Ave. in Basking Ridge.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017 at St. James Church, 184 South Finley Ave., Basking Ridge.

Final Resting Place will be at Somerset Hills Crematory, Mt. Airy Road, Basking Ridge.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Bernards P.E.C., 5 Lyons Mall, #160, Basking Ridge, NJ, 07920, www.bernardspec.com.

Dobson has a Ridge High School sophomore-aged brother named Zachary who has attended the school system for many years.

The school did not release the reason behind Dobson's death.
