BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Thanksgiving is nearly here and people in Basking Ridge are busy planning the perfect menu for this year’s holiday dinner.
In the rush to make a complete holiday meal for the entire family, it’s quite possible we’ll forget an item or two on our grocery lists. Fortunately, plenty of grocery stores in Basking Ridge will be open Thanksgiving Day to pick up the forgotten rolls or the missing can of cranberry sauce.
Here are the hours for grocery stores that will be open on Thanksgiving Day, along with those that won’t. As always, Patch encourages you to call ahead to your local store to confirm hours at that location.

ACME: The location at 177 Washington Valley Rd, Warren is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
CVS: All 24-hour CVS Pharmacy locations will remain open with regular hours on Thanksgiving. Non-24-hour CVS Pharmacy locations will close at 5 p.m. Some locations may have reduced pharmacy hours or may be closed for the holiday. The company recommends calling ahead to confirm store hours.

Kings: The location at 450 Hills Dr., Bedminster is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Rite Aid: Most Rite Aid stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day, but hours will vary depending upon location. Customers should check Rite Aid’s website for local store hours.
ShopRite: Hours will vary by location on Thanksgiving. The Hillsborough location at 601 Route 206 and Amwell Road will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Bound Brook location at 611 W Union Ave. is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Branchburg location at 3166 Route 22 is open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Bernardsville location at 93 Morristown Rd, Bernardsville is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Stop & Shop: Stop & Shop stores in Connecticut, New York and New Jersey are open until 3 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
The Fresh Market: The location at 75 Washington Valley Rd, Bedminster, is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Walgreens: Most Walgreens stores will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Walgreens stores and pharmacies that operate 24 hours will be open, with other select pharmacies open with modified hours. Customers are encouraged to check their local store hours before heading out.
Wawa: Most Wawa stores will be open on Thanksgiving.
Wegmans: Wegmans stores will close at 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day and will reopen Friday at 6 p.m. The Bridgewater store will reopen at 7 a.m.
Weis Market: The location at 315 Route 206, Hillsborough, is open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Whole Foods: Whole Foods Market stores will be open on Thanksgiving, the Bridgewater location will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
