Tractor Trailer Fire On I-287 Causing Delays In Somerset County

The fire on Monday morning is causing a lane closure and delays.

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A tractor-trailer fire on Interstate 287 North is causing a lane closure and delay on Monday morning.

The fire is located on the northbound side of the highway just north of Exit 26 for County Route 525/Mount Airy Road in Bernards Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation's 511NJ website.

As a result, one right lane of the four lanes is closed. There are also delays of about 5 minutes in the area.
