WAMS Vikings Softball Team Rattles Off 2 Strong Wins To Start 2024
Come cheer on the girls on Thursday on their Home Field at Mountain Park Field 7.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Following an electric 2023 season and despite losing some key players to high school, the William Annin Middle School(WAMS) Vikings, under returning Head Coach John Fico and Assistant Coach Hayley Fico, are off and running.
Having come up just short of raising the first-ever CJJSAA league championship after falling to a strong Warren Team in the 2023, the Vikings already avenged their last season loss to Clinton with a hard-fought 10-7 Win on April 9.
This followed a convincing win on opening day over Franklin by a score of 19-9.

Their next game is Thursday, April 11, on their Home Field at Mountain Park Field 7. Their opponent, JP Case, handed the Vikings their only other regular season loss in 2023 and the team is looking not only to avenge that game but also to keep the perfect season rolling with one one more win before a long Spring Break layoff.
