Basking Ridge Family To Sing On NBC's America's Got Talent, Watch Party Planned

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — The Sharpe Family Singers of Basking Ridge will compete in the semi-finals of NBC's America's Got Talent on Tuesday night.

Basking Ridge's Sharpe family previously dazzled the crowd and celebrity judges with their "all American" and "apple pie" performance on NBC's America's Got Talent on June 27.

"That was perfection. You guys don't even look real," said Judge Sofia Vergara.

Barbara, Ron, and their four children Samantha, Logan, Connor, and Aidan sang "How Far I'll Go" from Disney's Moana.

The family is already known on social media with a very large following on their Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube sites.

Their performance received a standing ovation from the crowd and all four Judges. They also earned four yes votes to proceed in the competition.

Watch Party

In support, Bernards Township is hosting a free Watch Party on Tuesday, Aug. 29 from 8 to 10 p.m. at the Pleasant Valley Park Amphitheater at 3405 Valley Road in Basking Ridge.

Supporters will be able to watch The Sharpe Family Singers as they compete live in the Season 18 semi-finals through a live stream. Residents can then vote for the family to help bring them to the finale.

Lawn chairs or blankets are recommended for seating along with a a flashlight and a device to vote.

Season 18 of "America's Got Talent" airs on NBC on Tuesdays at 8 p.m.
