How Much Rain Fell In Berkeley This Weekend?

It was a very wet weekend in Ocean County, and more rain is on the way this week. Here's how much rain fell in Berkeley.

BERKELEY, NJ — Mother Nature made good on her promise of April showers this past weekend, soaking the state with some much-needed rain.

Ocean County had some of the highest rain totals in the state, especially in Berkeley, which got more rain than anywhere else in the county except for the north branch of the Metedeconk River.

According to the National Weather Service, Berkeley Township received 7.03 inches of rain in the area just west of Double Trouble State Park. This data is for the past 72 hours as of Monday morning.

Additionally, the Pinewald area received 5.77 inches of rain, the NWS said.

While South Seaside Park only received 1.95 inches of rain, according to NWS data.

Nearby, Beachwood got 6.15 inches and Pine Beach had 6.07 inches of rain, the NWS said.

And more rain is in the forecast for the week. According to AccuWeather, Bayville can expect showers on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
