Next Generation Health Care

Next Generation Health Care

Representing the next generation of health care providers, 54 graduates completed residency and fellowship training through the Graduate Medical Education Program at Hackensack Meridian Ocean University Medical Center in Brick this past week. The latest class spans multiple residency disciplines including Family Medicine, Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, Pharmacy, Transitional Year and a fellowship in Sleep Medicine.

“I am proud of the achievements of this year’s class and the continued growth of the GME Program,” noted Frank Citara, MBA, President and Chief Hospital Executive of OUMC. “Such advancement enables us to attract and train tomorrow’s physicians – with an aim of investing in and retaining them to care for our local communities throughout New Jersey. Wherever they choose to practice, we are confident that through their training with us, core values of patient care including safety and quality will be upheld and complement their expertise.”
