New 12-Course Omakase Experience Offered At Bridgewater's Ryujin Sushi

Ryujin Sushi is bringing the latest NYC culinary craze to Bridgewater with its chef-curated high-end menu of authentic Japanese sushi.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Saving food enthusiasts the trip to New York City, Ryujin Sushi is bringing the latest culinary craze, the Omakase experience to Bridgewater.

The Omakase experience is comprised of 12 courses along with a dessert. The traditional Japanese sushi experience essentially translates to telling the chef that you leave it up to them. The menu is curated by their chef offering high-end authentic Japanese sushi.

"There is an art to Omakase. The chef cuts the fish right in front of you. And all of our fish is imported from Japan," said Ryujin Sushi Owner Julie Wahyueli to Patch. "Our chef looks at the fish list every day and picks the best then adds his own toppings. He is very creative with the toppings. It's like art."

The new space allows room for the Omakase experience along with additional seating and a party room that can hold around 30 people.

"We have received 4.5 and above Google and Yelp reviews. We really worked hard to be where we are. And we want to maintain that," said Wahyueli.

Wahyueli thanked the community for their continued support.

"We love it, we feel honored to receive positive feedback," said Wahyueli. "People respond to us and we actually feel very grateful with everybody's support."
