2 Kayakers In Distress, Water Rescue At Round Valley Reservoir

CLINTON, NJ — A water rescue for two kayakers in distress was reported at Round Valley Reservoir on Monday afternoon.
Around 3:05 p.m., a water rescue team was en route to help in Clinton Township, according to Fire & EMS Alerts Of Hunterdon & Warren County NJ.
Two male kayakers who made a distress call Monday afternoon from Round Valley Reservoir to State Park Police made landfall to the property’s campground area before emergency responders from the South Branch First Aid & Rescue Squad arrived, said New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Senior Press Officer Caryn Shinske.

Both men declined medical treatment and left the area in their own vehicles., said Shinske.
