CRANFORD KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

PRESS RELEASE

On Wednesday June 8th in the St. Michael’s Church Mary Prayer Garden, the Cranford Knights of Columbus presented Scholarships to 10 worthy high school students going off to college. Alex Puhak received the Monsignor Louis Fimiani Memorial Award, Charlie Dino received the Christine Bagniewski Memorial Award and Anthony Bottino received the Irene Shackell Memorial Award. The other Scholarship winners this year are Kelly Anderson, Erin Coates, James Ganley, Theresa Hickey, Michael Palacio, Zara Mendes and Emily Santulli. This year, the Council distributed $11,000.00 in Scholarship monies and pictured are all of the recipients with Father Sebastian Valencia Obando, Grand Knight Jerry Conheeney and the Scholarship Committee. The Council would like to thank our Chairman Ed Bagniewski and Committee members John Doolan, Rick Ferraioli, Bob Margherito, Wally Shackell, Joe Starkey and Joe Stolte for a another job well done. The Council would also thank everyone who supported our fundraisers enabling us to raise the funds for worthy Annual Scholarship donations this year.
