MONTCLAIR, NJ — Imani Oakley, who is running a progressive primary campaign in New Jersey’s 10th congressional district, received another endorsement from New Jersey’s progressive space, this one from Progressive Democrats of Hudson County, which seeks to create a professional, logistical, social, and cultural environment necessary for progressives to win up and down the ballot in Hudson County.

“All over New Jersey, and especially in Hudson County, people are standing up and fighting back,” said Oakley. “We’re fighting for a true democracy not a political monarchy where sons inherit their seats from their dads with help from corporate interests. That’s why this endorsement is so important. It shows that our movement to bring progress to New Jersey’s corrupt political landscape is growing stronger every day.”

Other endorsees for this round of elections include David Ocampo Grajales and in the past have included Jersey City Ward E Councilman James Solomon, Jersey City Ward F Councilman Frank Gilmore, and Joel Brooks, progressive candidate for Jersey City’s Ward B council seat.
