Police's Annual Sock Drive Begins In Gloucester Township

Gloucester Township Police are collecting new socks until Feb. 1, and hope the community will help them keep neighbors in need warm.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police are again collecting socks to help those in need around Gloucester Township keep warm this winter.

The annual Gloucester Township PD sock drive begins Tuesday, Jan. 3 and runs until Wednesday, February 1. Anyone wishing to donate can come to the GTPD Watch Desk with a gift of new, unused socks between those dates. The Watch Desk is on the bottom floor of 1261 Chews Landing Road, Gloucester Township.

"Those new socks will be be distributed to those in need this winter through one of our local homeless outreach programs," police said in a Facebook post.
