GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Superstorm Sandy made landfall in New Jersey on Oct. 29, 2012, and 10 years later, its legacy continues to grip the Garden State.

Gloucester Township Patch would like to hear your Sandy story and how it changed you and the neighborhood.

Just about everyone who lived in New Jersey at the time has a memory to share about Sandy — some awful, some inspiring. While other parts of the state had more significant damage from the historic storm, South Jersey was not as hard hit. Many residents and first responders emerged from the wind and rain to go help other areas of the Garden State.
