DWI Checkpoint In Hazlet This Weekend

There will be a DWI checkpoint in Hazlet this Saturday, July 13.

HAZLET, NJ — This weekend, the Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be conducting a DWI checkpoint in Hazlet:

The checkpoint will start Saturday night at 10 p.m. and end at 2 a.m. All eastbound vehicles on Rt 36 will be diverted into the At Home Recreation Center, where all drivers will be screened for their sobriety.

Officers from local police departments will be working alongside Task Force members for the checkpoint.

“The Task Force encourages everyone to be responsible and urges all drivers to use the many options available to drivers these days, if they plan on drinking,” the Monmouth County DWI Task Force said in a statement.
