Motel Fight Draws Charges In Lacey

Police said they responded to the Lacey Inn on Valentine's Day after getting a report that a woman was chasing a man around the property.

LACEY, INN — A Seaside Heights woman was charged after a Valentine's Day fight at the Lacey Inn, Lacey police said.

Police responded to the motel at 5:45 p.m. on Feb. 14 for a report of a woman chasing a man around the property at 229 N. Main St., Forked River.

The caller told police that another motel guest had punched him in the face and spit on him, police said.

Police said that they then met with the suspect, Robyn Geneski, 36, and discussed the incident.

After an investigation at the scene, Geneski was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct, police said.

Geneski was issued special complaint summonses for the charges and was released pending a future court appearance, police said.
