This Lacey Pizzeria Has The Best Cheesesteaks, Philly Food Site Says

LACEY, NJ — There's nothing like a classic Philadelphia cheesesteak. The combination of thinly-sliced steak and melted cheese (plus peppers and onions, if you wish) can't be matched. And you don't actually have to leave Jersey to get a delicious one - PhillyBite Magazine, a local food magazine, named a Lacey pizzeria as home of some of the best cheesesteaks in South Jersey.

If a Philadelphia site says your cheesesteak is a "must-try," it must be pretty good. And that's what the site said about Forked River's own Tomatoes Pizzeria, which is well-known locally for, of course, its cheesesteaks.

The magazine says that Tomatoes has actually "perfected the art of the cheesesteak." Their menu serves a variety of these sandwiches, including Joey's Special Steak which comes with peppers, onions, mushrooms and their special sauce, or the Three Cheesesteak that has mozzarella, provolone and American cheese on garlic bread.

It's "the perfect place to stop and satisfy your cheesesteak cravings in Lacey Township," PhillyBite said.
