NJ Man Dies In Lacey Garden State Parkway Crash: Police
A Sayreville resident died Friday in a single-vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway in Lacey Township, state police said.
LACEY, NJ - A Sayreville resident died Friday in a single-vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway in Lacey Township, state police said.
The crash occurred around 7:23 p.m. on the Garden State Parkway northbound near milepost 72 in Lacey, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police said.
An initial investigation found that a Chevy Traverse was traveling northbound on the parkway when it ran off the road to the right, went down an embankment and struck several trees, the spokesman said.

The driver of the Chevy, Brian Steiner, 49, sustained fatal injuries, the spokesman added.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, police said.
