Livingston Schoolbell Tolls: Kindergarten Registration Starts Next Week

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Is your baby growing up? The Livingston Public Schools will begin accepting pre-registration for the incoming 2024-2025 kindergarten class this Monday, Jan. 22, 2024.

A child is eligible for kindergarten in Livingston in fall if they have reached the age of five years on or before Oct. 1, 2024.

Only a parent or legal guardian residing in Livingston may register a new student, the district said.

Proof of residency or other special circumstances is required.

Parents must complete the entire kindergarten registration process by May 15, 2024 in order to be notified of their child’s school placement by June 1, 2024, the district said.

They noted, "Please note that pre-registration for the 2024-2025 school year will open for all other grades later in the spring. Registration appointments for grades 1-12 will start on April 1, 2024 for the 2023-2024 school year."
