In Livingston: Pesticides To Be Applied At Okner Parkway Wednesday

Pesticides will be used on athletic fields in the area due to crabgrass issues and lack of nitrogen, town officials say.

Livingston, NJ – Livingston town officials issued an advisory that “non-low-impact” pesticides are scheduled to be used at Okner Industrial Park at 73 Okner Parkway on Wednesday, April 6.

According to a township notice, TCS Growstar with 0.17% Dimesion will be used on athletic fields in the area due to crabgrass issues and lack of nitrogen in the soil.

“Where possible, persons who potentially are sensitive, such as pregnant women, infants, and children, should avoid any unnecessary pesticide exposure,” the notice stated.
