PHOTO: Get An Astronaut's View Of West Orange

NASA Astronaut Scott Kelly, a West Orange native, shared what his hometown looks like from space in a recent social media post that’s going viral.

“After more than 300 days in space and 15 years, I finally got a picture of my hometown!” Kelly wrote.

The photo was a hit with locals, many of whom shared their excitement over getting such a unique view of their hometowns.

“Thank you for sharing this awesome picture!!!” wrote one West Orange resident. “Our hometown looks beautiful from Outer Space.”

“One of the coolest things I’ve seen this year… Can’t see my old house though!” wrote another commenter.
