LIVINGSTON, NJ —When your body fights off stresses or invaders, it becomes inflamed. Experts say chronic inflammation can lead to or worsen other disorders or symptoms, from stress to type 2 diabetes, cancer, and heart disease. They also say that the foods you eat can reduce inflammation.

The Livingston Health Department, in conjunction with Summit Health, will host a presentation on anti-inflammatory foods. The virtual program will be held via Zoom on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 1 p.m. to 2.

Foods like blueberries, almonds, and more help fight inflammation.
