Belmar EMS Is Accepting Applications For A Part-Time EMT

All candidates must be a certified EMT and have a valid CPR certificate.

BELMAR, NJ – The borough of Belmar is currently seeking qualified applicants for an open part-time Emergency Medical Technician position.

Belmar Emergency Medical Services provides primary emergency medical support to both the Belmar and Lake Como. The EMS team works closely with the borough’s police, lifeguards, fire department, and Water Rescue Team to provide the necessary protection to visitors, residents, and surrounding areas.

Candidates must be 18 years or older, be a valid New Jersey Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), have valid CPR certification, must be able to pass a physical and EMT assessment and are preferred to have 2 year’s experience on an ambulance.

Potential employees will submit availability for a minimum of five shifts a month. Each shift is 12 hours, either 7 a.m to 7 p.m or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., and the wage is $16 an hour.
