Ocean City Is NJ's Favorite Beach For 11th Year In A Row

The results from the NJ Sea Grant Consortium's annual "New Jersey's Favorite Beach" are in, and Ocean City reigns supreme.

OCEAN CITY, NJ — There's nowhere else like Ocean City, NJ. From sandy beaches to Boardwalk fun to tasty pizza, it stays serving as "America's Favorite Family Resort."

It's also New Jersey's favorite beach for the 11th year in a row, according to the New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium.

Since 2008, the NJ Sea Grant Consortium has run its "Favorite Beaches" poll, inviting residents to vote for their favorite beach in each Jersey Shore county. The results were announced Friday and it's the same once again: Ocean City has won favorite in Cape May County and overall for 11 years now.

It's not a scientific poll, just beach lovers sharing their thoughts.

Overall Winner: Ocean City
Runner Up: Margate

Monmouth County Winner: Asbury Park
Runner Up: Spring Lake

Ocean County Winner: Point Pleasant
Runner Up: Seaside Heights

Atlantic County Winner: Margate
Runner Up: Brigantine

Cape May County Winner: Ocean City
Runner Up: Cape May
