ASBURY PARK, NJ — Fox News will be including the fireworks in Asbury Park on Thursday during a special Fourth of July broadcast in the evening, the network announced.

Fox News has a two-hour live program scheduled for the evening of July 4th with live fireworks from Washington, DC, and from Rhode Island along with Asbury Park.

The network originally planned to broadcast fireworks from Point Pleasant Beach, but a network spokesperson said the Asbury Park fireworks now will be showcased instead.

The broadcast is titled "The Big Independence Day Special" and airs beginning at 8 p.m.

Fox News co-hosts Carley Shimkus, Lawrence Jones, Aishah Hasnie and Johnny Joey Jones will present the program from FOX Square in New York City.

It wil include patriotic musical performances from former police officer and reclaimed country music artist Frank Ray. Patriotic messages from veterans and viewers will be broadcast live during the segment.
