League of Women Voters of GR Announces Dates for Candidates’ Night

LWV of GR Announces Dates for Candidates' Night for BOE and Town Council Learn what's on ballot with the League's VOTE411.org

Ahead of the November general elections, the League of Women Voters of Glen Rock (LWVGR) has announced two dates for “Candidates’ Night,” an evening to hear candidates’ positions on issues of importance to the town.

The first forum will be held for Board of Education candidates on October 18, 2022 at 7pm at Glen Rock Borough Hall. The six candidates - Angela Pucci-Bender, Stephanie Carosella, Elizabeth Carr, Benjamin Kalinkowitz, Sinead Rundell and Francis Triolo - are running for the three open Board of Education seats, a three-year term. The second forum will be held for Council candidates on October 25, 2022, 7pm at Glen Rock Borough Hall. The four candidates - Teresa Gilbreath, Paula Gilligan, William Leonard and Robert Saydah are running for two open three-year council positions.

Both forums are open to the public and will be held in-person. Residents attending the evening can submit questions that evening. In addition to the in-person event, both Meet the Candidates’ Nights will be live streamed on GRTV Channel 77 (Cablevision), Channel 32 (FIOS), League of Women Voters of Glen Rock Facebook page and the League’s YouTube channel Candidates Night Glen Rock 2022 – Borough Council - YouTube Candidates Night Glen Rock 2022 - Board of Education - YouTube. The taped broadcast of Candidates Nights will be available the following day on Glen Rock TV’s Vimeo Channel and the League’s YouTube channel.

Additional information on the candidates for both local and state election is available on VOTE411.org a “one-stop shop” for election information.
