Stop & Shop Unveils Remodeled Ridgewood Store

Stop & Shop today celebrated its newly remodeled store in Ridgewood (175 Franklin Avenue). Mayor Susan Knudsen joined the store for the ribbon cutting. The store is now noticeably brighter and more modern and offers new features that are centered around delivering fresh, healthy, and convenient options to make grocery shopping easier.

Highlights of the remodeled Ridgewood store include:

• Expanded and remodeled produce department offering myriad ways to eat healthy
• Upgraded bakery department complete with delicious cakes, cupcakes and other treats, as well as Kosher baked goods
• An upgraded deli department that features grab-and-go meal solutions and fresh sushi
• Expanded frozen, dairy and grocery departments offering more great products to pick from
• Expanded international offerings including Polish, Middle Eastern, Asian and Baltic products
• Updated pharmacy including a new immunization room where Stop & Shop’s trained and trusted pharmacists can conveniently and safely administer Flu, COVID-19 and other vaccines, as well as the PickPoint® Will Call System to make the prescription pickup process faster
• Organic and natural products integrated within the grocery aisles allowing customers to see all product options available
• Upgraded front-end with new dual-lane register to maximize efficiency and minimize wait time

The Ridgewood store continues to offer Same Day Pickup, a faster and more convenient way to shop, with orders ready in as little as two hours. Customers can place an order on the Stop & Shop® mobile app, or visit www.stopandshop.com, click on “Order Online” and select “Pickup” at the Ridgewood store. Customers can then head to the store, park in one of the designated Pickup spots, and have a Stop & Shop associate load their groceries right into their car. The Ridgewood store celebrated its remodel in late September with a donation of 20,000 diapers to Children’s Aid and Family Services in support of National Diaper Need Awareness Week. As for this weekend, October 21-23, Shoppers can look forward to a weekend of giveaways, kid-friendly activities and samples.
