Support Bergen County Foster Youth Embrace Independence!

To inform Bergen County’s foster youth, who will be aging out of the system, about their rights and services, we are hosting a remote Embracing Independence Conference in April 2022. This is important because the pandemic impacted (and continues to impact) our teens more than any other age group. We find that they are more isolated, less informed, and have fewer supports than previous generations.

The mission of CASA for Children of Bergen County is to advocate for children removed from their homes due to abuse and/or neglect. We ensure that needed services and assistance are made available to these children while helping to move them toward safe and permanent homes.
