Winning NJ Lottery Tickets Sold At 2 Bergen County Stores

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Two people who purchased lottery tickets in Bergen County became winners over the weekend, the NJ Lottery said.

A New Jersey Lottery ticket purchased at M&M Discount Wine & Liquors matched four of the five white balls and the Power Ball drawn for the Saturday, Aug. 19, drawing, the agency said. The purchaser won the $50,000 second-tier prize. M&M is located at 429 Market St., Elmwood Park.

The winning numbers for the Saturday, Aug. 19, drawing were: 01, 25, 27, 38, and 62.

The Powerball jackpot rolled to $291 million.

Also, a lucky player purchased a ticket for the $10 Fire & Dice in Ramsey, winning $509,839, which is 100 percent of the progressive jackpot. They won on Sunday, Aug. 20.

The winning ticket was sold at Village Stationers, 51 West Main St.
