50th Anniversary Garden Concert

Come celebrate Reeves-Reed Arboretum's 50th Anniversary as a non-profit public arboretum at this special concert in the garden! All ages welcome!

The Suyat Band will be bringing a touch of Hawaii to the Mainland and Reeves-Reed Arboretum at this Sunday afternoon performance. Steadily building a reputation as one of the most consistently crowd-pleasing live acts on the East Coast, The Suyat Band delivers high-energy hits from yesterday and today with rock-solid musicianship and warm-hearted Aloha spirit. Led by its namesake, Hawaiian-born Matthew Suyat, a champion at the Apollo Theater and American Idol Top 24 Finalist, the band has performed at such historic venues as NYC's BB King's, Stephen's Talkhouse, and NJ's Wellmont Theater.

This arts program is made possible in part by a 2024 HEART (History, Education, Arts Reaching Thousands) Grant from the Union County Board of County Commissioners.

DETAILS: Grounds will open at 3 pm for concertgoers to picnic. Please bring your own blankets and lawn chairs. 50th Anniversary merchandise and 50/50 raffle tickets will be for sale. Free crafts and fun tattoo stickers will be available for the kids.

REGISTRATION: RRA Members and children 3 and under are FREE; Non-members $15 per person; Students $5 per person. Student tickets must be purchased at the gate.
