Through Morris Habitat for Humanity, 12 affordable condominiums will be available for low and moderate income households in Summit.

SUMMIT, NJ — For those seeking affordable housing in Summit, the township is advertising 12 affordable condominiums in the area.

Morris Habitat for Humanity is offering 12 affordable condominiums on 146 Morris Ave. in Summit, seeking low and moderate-income applicants. This project is suitable for families with a household size of at least two people to a maximum of six people, depending on the number of bedrooms.

There are two and three-bedroom condominiums available.

These homes will be built to Energy Star standards, and first-floor condominiums will be Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible.

The following are the home sale prices based on annual household income:

3—2 Bedroom (Low ) - $100,000
3—2 Bedroom (Mod) - $145,000
3—3 Bedroom (Low) - $120,000
1—3 Bedroom (Mod) - $184,000
2—3 Bedroom (Mod) - $200,000

To qualify for this housing, all applicants using income for qualification purposes must be a U.S. citizen or legal residents. They also must have a minimum income of approximately $30,000 per year, and a minimum credit store of at least 600.

  • Tuesday, Jan. 11 at 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Jan. 15 at 9 a.m.
