BEACHWOOD, NJ — Law enforcement will be conducting an active shooter preparedness training session on Thursday at Beachwood Elementary School.

The training session is previously scheduled and involves multiple agencies, Beachwood police said.

"Please be aware that there will be a large police presence and significant activity around the school during this time," Beachwood police said.

"There is no danger or threat, this is a pre-scheduled multi-agency training aimed at enhancing our emergency response capabilities and preparedness," they said.

The training event is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
