Stop & Shop Unveils Remodeled Toms River Store

Stop & Shop, a neighborhood grocer for more than 100 years, unveiled its newly remodeled store in Toms River (353 Route NJ-37). At the Grand Reopening, Stop & Shop donated $5,000 in gift cards to the local Toms River charity ‘A Need We Feed’ to help its community members dealing with hunger.

The Toms River store is now noticeably brighter and more modern. The store also offers new features centered around delivering fresh, healthy, and convenient options to make grocery shopping easier, such as:

· Expanded produce department offering more ways to eat healthy

· Remodeled bakery department complete with delicious cakes, cupcakes and other treats

· Upgraded seafood and meat departments featuring an array of proteins

· An updated deli department that features an expanded assortment of offerings including grab-and-go meal solutions

· More freshly prepared foods, including freshly made sushi, and Boar’s Head Sandwiches

· Expanded dairy and frozen food departments offering a wider array of goods

· Organic and natural products integrated within the grocery aisles allowing customers to see all product options available

Customers can then head to the store, park in one of the designated Pickup spots, and have a Stop & Shop associate load their groceries right into their car.
